Service Description

Start your DJ journey with a private one-on-one lesson designed for complete beginners. In Lesson 1, you'll learn the fundamentals of DJing using Rekordbox, the industry-standard DJ software, and a beginner-friendly Pioneer DJ controller. You'll be introduced to the essential skills every DJ needs, including: Understanding the Rekordbox interface Loading and organising music Understanding BPM, tempo and phrasing Basic beatmatching concepts Cueing and headphone monitoring Using EQs, volume faders and the crossfader Creating smooth transitions Basic DJ workflow and equipment setup This lesson focuses on building a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced mixing techniques and creative performance skills. No previous experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and a passion for electronic music. Genres Covered: Deep House, Melodic House, Organic House, Progressive House, Afro House, Tech House and Melodic Techno.

Cancellation Policy

By booking a DJ lesson with Pure Circle Studios, you agree to the following terms: Age Requirements DJ lessons are available for participants aged 16 years and over. Participants under 18 years old must have parent or guardian consent. A parent or guardian may be required to attend the lesson where appropriate. Lesson Location Lessons are conducted primarily from the Pure Circle Studios mobile DJ studio van at a suitable public outdoor location, such as the waterfront. This setup provides the best environment for learning DJ equipment, sound control, and real-world DJ techniques. Public facilities, including toilets, are available nearby. If weather conditions are unsuitable, alternative arrangements may be discussed, including a lesson at the client’s location where possible. Please note that the sound environment and learning experience may differ from the mobile studio setup. Recording & Privacy Lessons may involve camera recording for security, training, quality control, or promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please advise before the lesson begins and recording can be turned off. No footage will be publicly shared without appropriate permission. What To Bring Students only need to bring their own headphones. No DJ equipment or music library is required. Lessons focus on learning the basics of DJing, including: Rekordbox software Pioneer DJ equipment DJ controls and workflow Beat matching and mixing basics Music preparation and organisation Bookings, Cancellations & Rescheduling Bookings must be made through the Pure Circle Studios Wix booking system. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the booking fee being forfeited. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Student Conduct & Safety Students must follow reasonable safety instructions while using equipment and attending lessons. Respectful behaviour is required at all times. Pure Circle Studios reserves the right to refuse or end a lesson if behaviour creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment. By completing a booking, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions.
